VPI Classic Signature: belt-drive turntable with the motor in the base and a 10-inch gimbal arm
The Classic Signature is a belt-drive turntable for 33 and 45 rpm records, delivered with a 10-inch, 3D-printed gimbal tonearm already mounted. Unlike the Prime series models, whose motor lives in an external unit, here the 300 rpm motor is built into the base of the turntable.
The chassis is vinyl-covered MDF with a steel top plate 2 cm thick. The aluminium platter is 5 cm thick and weighs about 9.1 kg. The arm is installed on a tower that lets VTA and SRA be adjusted. The turntable stands on four feet and is supplied with the De Luxe Delrin Clamp.
