V5 Sigmas: the design
V5 Sigmas is a clear step on from EVO3 Sigmas: there are now seven outlets, and the three high-current ones borrow a lightened form of the Direct-Coupled circuit found in the V5 Titan, to feed low-impedance current to power amps, subwoofers and active speakers.
The other four outlets, rated 10 A, are for sources. Each of the seven has its own filter network, and the unit also protects against surges and spikes up to 121,500 A.
