Square in-wall or in-ceiling speaker with Uni-Q® driver
The KEF Ci200QS is a square two-way flush-mount speaker designed to blend into walls and ceilings with the utmost discretion, filling the room with wide, even sound thanks to the KEF Uni-Q® driver. Sold individually, it combines a 200 mm (8") woofer with a 25 mm tweeter in a Uni-Q® configuration for a frequency response from 45 Hz to 20 kHz. The Ultra-Thin Bezel (UTB) frame keeps the visible edge to a minimum, ensuring flawless visual integration in any room. For those who need the rectangular format, the Ci200QL model offers the same drivers in an elongated version.
Uni-Q®: maximum sound coverage with fewer speakers
The KEF Uni-Q® driver places the 25 mm tweeter exactly at the acoustic centre of the 200 mm woofer, so that both act as a single point source. The result is wide, even sound dispersion throughout the room, which makes it possible to cover even large rooms with fewer speakers than conventional solutions — a real advantage in terms of both cost and installation complexity.
Full-range performance and installation in under two minutes
With a sensitivity of 90 dB and compatibility with amplifiers from 10 to 150 W into 8 Ω, the Ci200QS delivers rich, balanced sound suited both to background music and to more involved listening. The KEF fixing system is designed to make installation extremely quick: once the cable has been run and the hole cut, the speaker is up and running in under two minutes.
Flexible in-wall or in-ceiling installation
With external dimensions of 273 × 273 mm and a mounting depth of 99.8 mm, the Ci200QS fits walls and ceilings with a thickness from 7 to 38 mm. The required cut-out is 238 × 238 mm. The optional RIF200S pre-installation frame simplifies fitting during construction, while the optional RNC200S rear enclosure improves bass response and acoustic isolation from the cavity.
The versatile speaker for every zone of the system
The Ci200QS is the ideal choice for secondary listening zones, multiroom audio distribution, commercial spaces or as a surround channel in Home Theatre systems. It integrates perfectly with the other speakers in the KEF Ci-Q series — including its rectangular twin, the Ci200QL — ensuring the same Uni-Q® sonic signature at every point of the installation.
