The KEF Ci3160RLb-THX is an architectural in-wall subwoofer designed for high-end Extreme Home Theatre systems. Part of the Ci-R Series range, it offers the depth, impact and sound pressure typical of a traditional KEF subwoofer, but with the elegance of a solution perfectly integrated into the wall. It is intended to add energy, realism and emotional intensity to films, music and multichannel content, keeping the room clean and free of visible clutter.
Deep bass with three 160 mm drivers
The KEF Ci3160RLb-THX incorporates three high-excursion 160 mm sub-bass drivers, mounted on a robust aluminium baffle. This configuration delivers a frequency response down to 20 Hz, with deep, controlled bass capable of filling even demanding home theatre rooms. To perform at its best, the subwoofer must be paired with the KEF KASA500 system amplifier, designed to drive up to two Ci3160RLb-THX units in high-performance installations.
THX Ultra and Select certification for a cinema experience
The KEF Ci3160RLb-THX is THX® Ultra and THX® Select certified, standards intended to guarantee sound that is powerful, precise and consistent with the original cinema experience. THX-certified subwoofers are designed to offer adequate frequency response, high sound pressure and acoustic image quality comparable to that of a traditional speaker. The result is bass capable of making action sequences more physical and engaging, without losing control and naturalness in the most delicate passages.
Invisible integration for cinema rooms and advanced living spaces
The KEF Ci3160RLb-THX is ideal for private cinema rooms, fine living rooms and custom installations where the subwoofer has to disappear visually into the room. The mounting depth of 88.5 mm allows in-wall fitting with minimal visual impact, while the compact structure and rectangular format allow perfect integration with other KEF speakers in the Ci-R range. With a sensitivity of 92 dB, a nominal impedance of 4 Ohm and a weight of 10.9 kg, it is a solid, high-performing solution for bespoke home theatre systems.
