The KEF KC62 is a High-End active subwoofer designed for those who want real, deep and controlled bass without filling the living room with bulky equipment. Despite a cabinet little larger than a 25 cm “cube”, it incorporates highly advanced engineering solutions: a Uni-Core™ Force Cancellation array, 1000 W RMS (2 × 500 W) Class D amplification and the proprietary Music Integrity Engine® DSP. The result is a subwoofer capable of reaching down to 11 Hz, with surprising impact and reference-grade precision, perfect both for 2.1/2.2 Hi-Fi systems and for high-level Home Cinema.
Uni-Core™, P-Flex and reduced distortion: clean bass, never “slow”
The heart of the KC62 is Uni-Core™ technology, which combines the two drivers in a compact magnet system with concentric voice coils, achieving large excursion and cancellation of reactive forces in a very small volume. The P-Flex (Origami Surround) surround increases resistance to internal pressure without weighing down the movement of the cone, improving dynamics and detail. In addition, the intelligent distortion control technology works to keep the low range more natural and less coloured, even when the sub is pushed hard.
Easy to integrate anywhere, even wirelessly
The KC62 is designed to adapt to any room thanks to 5 placement presets, 0/180° phase control, and volume and 40–140 Hz crossover adjustments. Connectivity is comprehensive: RCA line/LFE, a high-level input (with adapter) and the option of wireless operation via the KEF KW1 (optional). Aesthetically it is a small technical sculpture: an aluminium cabinet with elegant finishes, ideal alongside KEF LS systems and any modern setup where both performance and design matter.
