Kef VENTURA 6

IP65-certified outdoor speaker for garden, terrace and pool

The KEF Ventura 6 is a two-way sealed-box outdoor speaker from the Ventura series, designed to bring KEF sound quality outdoors without any compromise, even in the most extreme weather conditions. Sold as a pair and available in black and white, it features a 160 mm (6.5") woofer with a 25 mm fluid-cooled aluminium dome tweeter, for a frequency response from 54 Hz to 20 kHz. The IP65 certification from an independent laboratory, the salt-fog test for over 1200 hours and the operating range from -40 to +70 °C make it suitable for gardens, terraces, poolsides and marine installations. The aluminium mounting bracket with 1/4"-20 threaded inserts offers full flexibility of orientation and positioning.

Over-tested construction to withstand any environment

The Ventura series is designed and tested to outperform the competition even in the most hostile environments. The sealed, waterproof cabinet is built with stainless steel and brass hardware, the grille and the bracket are in aluminium, and all components have undergone salt-fog testing for over 1200 hours of continuous exposure. The operating range from -40 to +70 °C guarantees consistent performance from severe cold to extreme heat, making it suitable for installations in climates of any kind, from marine environments to alpine areas.

Fluid-cooled tweeter and 6.5-inch woofer for uncompromising performance

With a sensitivity of 90 dB, a response that reaches down to 54 Hz and compatibility with amplifiers from 10 to 125 W into 6 Ω, the Ventura 6 offers dynamics and bass extension rarely available in an outdoor speaker of this format. The 25 mm fluid-cooled tweeter guarantees thermal stability at high frequencies even at high sound pressure levels, while the 160 mm woofer ensures full, rich bass reproduction outdoors, where the absence of room reinforcement penalises less capable speakers.

Versatile installation with adjustable bracket and rotating logo

The Ventura 6 is fitted with an aluminium mounting bracket with 1/4"-20 threaded inserts that allow multiple fixing and orientation options. The dimensions of the cabinet alone are 300 × 226 × 219 mm, which become 300 × 226 × 263.5 mm with bracket and knobs included. The rotating logo keeps the brand always in the correct position regardless of the installation orientation, a detail that reflects the build care of the entire Ventura series.

The KEF outdoor choice for garden, pool and yacht

The Ventura 6 is intended for those who do not want to give up KEF sound quality in outdoor spaces: private gardens, terraces, poolsides, hospitality areas and marine installations. Availability in two colours — black and white — makes it possible to match the look to the surrounding architectural context. It sits in the KEF Ventura series as the reference 6.5-inch model, ensuring the KEF sound signature with the certified robustness needed to withstand years of outdoor use without degradation in performance.
