The KEF XIO is a high-end soundbar designed to bring to the living room a wider, more precise and more engaging sound experience than ordinary soundbars. Intended for those who want to combine refined design, a small footprint and home cinema performance, it has a 5.1.2 configuration, supports the main immersive audio formats and uses proprietary KEF solutions to deliver clear dialogue, a credible soundstage and deep bass. It is the ideal choice for those who want to get more from TV, films, series and music with an elegant, technologically advanced product.
Advanced acoustic technology and immersive listening
At the heart of the KEF XIO are the celebrated Uni-Q MX drivers, joined by dedicated full range drivers and four P185 units for the low frequencies, supported by VECO technology. This architecture is driven by 12 Class D amplifiers and a total instantaneous power of 820 W, with a declared frequency response from 34 Hz to 20 kHz and a maximum sound pressure level of 102 dB. The result is dynamic, detailed and full-bodied sound reproduction, able to offer convincing impact both with film content and with high-resolution music streaming.
Complete connectivity and modern integration
The KEF XIO is designed to fit easily into a contemporary home system. It has HDMI 2.1 eARC, a TOSLINK optical input, RJ45 Ethernet and a USB-C service port, as well as Wi-Fi 2.4 / 5 / 6 GHz network connectivity to the IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax standard. It supports content up to 384 kHz / 24 bit via network, up to 192 kHz / 24 bit via HDMI eARC and up to 96 kHz / 24 bit via optical. Compatible formats include Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, 360 Reality Audio and MPEG-H, as well as numerous music formats such as FLAC, WAV, AIFF, ALAC, AAC, WMA, MP3, M4A, LPCM and Ogg Vorbis. It is also ready for future wireless surround expansion via firmware update.
