One hundred watts, HEOS and eARC in a compact amplifier
MODEL M1 is a 2x100 W Class D streaming amplifier with HDMI eARC, optical input and subwoofer output.
MODEL M1 turns passive loudspeakers into a music and television system while occupying little space. It delivers 100 W per channel into 8 ohms and 125 W into 4, receives television audio through HDMI eARC and integrates HEOS for online services, network music and multiroom use. An optical input accepts a second digital source and the subwoofer output extends bass. It is not a receiver crowded with sockets: the design removes what a simple zone does not need.
Key features
- 2x100 W into 8 ohms, 2x125 W into 4 ohms
- Class D amplification
- HDMI eARC and optical input
- HEOS, AirPlay, Bluetooth and Roon Ready
- Subwoofer output and 4-16 ohm terminals
A complete zone with two speakers
In a lounge it connects television and network; in an office, kitchen or bedroom it creates an independent system. Small dimensions permit discreet installation but still require air and cable access. Power supports serious speakers without making M1 a dedicated-theatre amplifier.
Television with soundbar logic
eARC carries audio and compatible commands through one HDMI cable. MODEL M1 can power up and adjust level with the television while providing stereo separation. It does not switch video sources: consoles and players remain connected to the display.
HEOS is the main selector
The app combines streaming services, local servers and products in other rooms. AirPlay and Bluetooth provide quick access, while Roon Ready supports a compatible ecosystem.
Few inputs by design
One HDMI and one optical input cover television and a digital source. There is no phono stage, bank of analogue lines or HDMI matrix. STEREO 70s better serves turntables and several components; network-and-TV listeners avoid unused complexity here.
Subwoofer and load management
The dedicated output creates 2.1 and can reduce the burden on small speakers when crossover is correctly set. Terminals accept declared loads from 4 to 16 ohms. Speaker sensitivity and distance remain decisive despite the power figure.
