Twin plinth and 6.6 kg platter, with an arm or ready for your own
M6x TT is a belt-drive turntable with twin plinth, magnetic feet and 9-inch arm; an armless version is also available.
M6x TT is one platform offered in two forms: complete with a 9-inch aluminium tonearm, or Armless for owners of a compatible arm who want to choose geometry and cartridge themselves. The two Plexiglass plinths remain physically separated to isolate platter and arm support. Motor, power supply and base are decoupled; the 6.6 kg aluminium platter uses TPE damping to provide inertia while controlling resonance.
Key features
- Belt-drive turntable with electronic 33/45 rpm selection
- Physically separated twin Plexiglass plinth
- 6.6 kg TPE-damped aluminium platter
- Inverted ceramic ball bearing
- Adjustable magnetic feet and external power supply
- Available with 9-inch arm or Armless without tonearm
With arm: a system already defined
The straight 9-inch arm uses gimbal bearings and provides VTA and azimuth adjustment. Its integrated headshell and two TPE-damped counterweights accommodate different cartridges, while the 5P DIN connector allows the cable to be selected or replaced. This version suits listeners wanting proven geometry and wishing to focus on cartridge, alignment and phono stage.
Armless: freedom that requires expertise
The version without an arm is not accidentally incomplete: it is for owners of a suitable arm or those selecting one separately. Effective length, mounting distance, mass, cut-out and base compatibility must be checked. The lower purchase price does not guarantee a cheaper final system; it buys design freedom and makes accurate installation essential.
Isolating vibration at every stage
The DC motor sits at an angle and is isolated through polyurethane foam from both turntable and support. Adjustable magnetic feet address vibration from the furniture, while the twin plinth separates mechanical zones. A leather mat and record puck complete record contact. Each solution tackles a different path rather than relying on mass alone.
Speed, inertia and bearing
Electronic 33/45 selection avoids moving the belt by hand. The heavy platter stabilises rotation, TPE controls resonance and the inverted ceramic bearing reduces contact area. Correct maintenance and levelling remain essential: a turntable of this scale cannot compensate for unstable furniture or careless set-up.
The system around the turntable
M6x TT includes neither cartridge nor phono stage. Selection must consider arm mass, cartridge compliance, output level and phono adjustment. M6x Vinyl is the range partner for multiple cartridges and balanced inputs, but is not compulsory. The complete version includes a semi-balanced RCA cable; alternative connections depend on the installed arm.
