150 watts into 8 ohms: Power Edition moves Uniti to Class D
Naim Uniti Nova Power Edition (PE) retains Nova's streamer, inputs and control while nearly doubling output to 150 W into 8 ohms and 250 W into 4 ohms.
The single Naim Uniti Nova Power Edition (PE) is the Uniti intended for systems needing greater loudspeaker-driving margin without moving to separate streamer, preamplifier and power amplifier. Its central technical difference from Nova is Class-D amplification: 150 W per channel into 8 ohms rather than the standard model's 80 W Class-AB stage.

How it differs from Uniti Nova
Standard Nova uses an 80 W-per-channel Class-AB power stage and weighs 13 kg; PE employs 150 W Class D, rises to 250 W into 4 ohms and takes chassis weight to 15.1 kg. The change does not add another electronics box: streaming, conversion, volume control and power remain inside one component.
When Atom and Star Lite do not provide enough output
Atom delivers 40 W per channel and Star Lite 70 W, both using Class AB. Nova PE therefore creates the largest step in available power within Uniti when loudspeakers or room size demand more current, while retaining the same family approach to network services and system control.
An all-in-one that keeps expansion options
Preamplifier outputs allow other electronics to be integrated, while the headphone socket and analogue and digital inputs keep external sources available. NAC A5 and Super Lumina are listed as compatible loudspeaker cables, so the increased power does not change the basic wiring logic of the Uniti range. It therefore remains a single-chassis system even when the loudspeaker load calls for substantially more available power.
