Nordost Odin 2 Tone Arm Cable +

Nordost Odin 2 Tone Arm Cable +: Supreme Reference tone arm lead

The Odin 2 Tone Arm Cable + is the Supreme Reference-level tone arm lead from Nordost. Its four conductors are held in a Dual Mono-Filament suspension, a patented design that raises signal speed and cuts contact with the insulation by 85%. Every conductor has its own Total Signal Control (TSC) shield against external disturbances and crosstalk.

A fully isolated bond ground runs along the cable and joins the chassis of turntable and phono stage; two detachable ground whips, with TSC shielding, connect to the shield of the cable when needed.

Technical features

• Conductors: four, 23 AWG each
• Material: solid-core OFC copper, 99.999999% pure, plated in silver
• Extruded FEP insulation of high purity
• Dual Mono-Filament and TSC construction, with mechanically tuned lay and length
• Capacitance 9.75 pF/ft (RCA) or 23.5 pF/ft (XLR); inductance 0.11 μH/ft (RCA) or 0.06 μH/ft (XLR)
• Individual 100% shielding; propagation velocity 90%
• Bond wire and ground whips: 23 AWG solid-core OFC copper, silver-plated, with Dual Mono-Filament
