Nordost Purple Flare 3 Power Cord

Nordost Purple Flare 3: three-conductor Leif 3 power cord

Purple Flare 3 is a power cord from the Leif 3 family. Unlike signal cables, a mains cable carries no music, only alternating current: its quality is measured by how solidly and instantly it supplies current and by how well it reduces electromagnetic (EMI) and radio-frequency disturbances arriving from outside.

The proprietary Micro Mono-Filament construction from Nordost is used on three OFC copper conductors of 16 AWG, which are then covered in extruded FEP. It is a fast, low-loss structure that gives the system the base it needs.
