Nordost Purple Flare 3 Interconnect Cable

Nordost Purple Flare 3: analog interconnect cable

Purple Flare 3 is an analog interconnect for the link between sources and amplification, suited to mid-range components as well as hi-fi electronics. It uses six solid-core 26 AWG conductors, made of OFC copper plated in silver and organised as three twisted pairs.

Every pair has a shield of its own; the whole bundle is then held inside a second, braided shield, with 97% coverage that suppresses noise. The outcome is a fast, low-loss cable with a wide bandwidth. The connectors are Neutrik, either gold-plated Profi RCA or XLR.
