Nordost QKORE 1

Nordost QKORE 1: ground unit for the QBASE distributor

The QKORE is a device for grounding in parallel: it creates a clean artificial earth for the hi-fi system, with an approach that is both electrical and mechanical. It joins Nordost Mono-Filament technology with LVAP plates (Low-Voltage Attractor Plates) made of a proprietary alloy, plus a passive electronic circuit; together they attract high-frequency noise and stray magnetic fields to a purpose-made earth point.

The QKORE 1 is the model intended for the QBASE mains distributor: its only binding post, marked QBASE Ground, supplies an alternative ground upstream of the power supply, on its primary side. It does not replace the protective earth of the household electrical installation.
