The CI Pro P80-A v2 is a two-way coaxial ceiling speaker whose output is tilted by 30°: a 203 mm woofer and a 25 mm tweeter for anyone who needs to steer the sound while keeping the installation out of sight.

What sets the P80-A apart from the other round models in the CI Pro range is the Guided Soundfield system, which tilts the output by 30° relative to the ceiling plane. The tilt needs more room: the cut-out is 291 mm and the minimum mounting depth 143 mm. The crossover is set at 2.0 kHz, the on-axis response starts at 58 Hz and in-room sensitivity is 93 dB, with amplifiers of 15 to 110 W recommended.
The drive units are those of the range, which is built in Canada. The AL-MAC tweeter joins aluminium, magnesium and ceramic into a material that is tough, light and by nature unwilling to resonate; the perforated PPA lens corrects its phase and RED technology lessens the effects of diffraction. The woofer has the CARBON-X cone and a long-throw motor that takes more power and compresses dynamics less; the ART surround, patented and moulded onto the cone, increases usable travel.
Between the basket and the reinforced nylon baffle sits the Shock-Mount decoupling, which removes resonances between frame and acoustic section. The die-cast aluminium basket, designed with finite element analysis, incorporates cooling fins. The speaker is completed by the polycarbonate rear cover, nickel-plated spring terminals with a wide opening for thick cable or banana plugs, and the micro-perforated grille, held by magnets and paintable.
