R10s: the step beyond an ultra-compact subwoofer
With a 250 mm driver and 750 W, the R10s is built for small-to-medium rooms where the R8s fits physically but may not always provide enough dynamic margin.
It suits listeners who play louder, use floor-standing speakers or want demanding soundtracks without moving straight to a 12-inch model. It remains relatively easy to place, yet supplies more capacity and weight than the 215 mm unit, especially as the sofa moves further away.

Who needs more than the R8s?
The R10s answers living rooms where the subwoofer must remain discreet but the main system already has useful dynamic ability. Its 10-inch driver supports compact towers and substantial monitors with greater authority, reducing the chance of reaching the limit too soon. It is also a sensible first home-cinema subwoofer when films are a frequent use.
Why not move directly to the R12s?
The R12s provides 1000 W and more area, but is wider, heavier and more expensive. In a contained room the R10s can reach the useful level without overexciting resonances or imposing a dominant enclosure. The saving can support treatment, calibration or, in some rooms, a future second unit.
An agile character
The 250 mm woofer retains speed and makes blending easier with loudspeakers that do not extend very low. Its sealed cabinet supports progressive decay without port noise. The best result is not the one with the most bass, but the one where voice, drums and effects retain credible proportions when the subwoofer is active.
R-Series control in compact form
48-bit DSP, 32-bit processing, PEQ with three presets, phase, RCA/XLR, touchscreen, app and trigger are summarised rather than repeated in full. On the R10s they adapt the system to nearby walls and small placement changes, typical conditions in a living room where the ideal position must coexist with furniture.
