R12s: the balance point for an advanced domestic cinema
A 300 mm woofer and 1000 W amplifier place the R12s at the centre of the range for size, capability and ease of integration.
It is the starting point when the room is not small but does not need the scale of a 15- or 18-inch driver. It can extend full-range towers, give substance to a multichannel system and remain compact enough to try in several positions. For many owners it is not a compromise, but the correct size.

The choice for a medium room
The R12s suits large living rooms and domestic cinemas where listening distance is not extreme. It offers more margin than the R10s on peaks and deep octaves without imposing the volume of the R15s. A width of 390 mm and manageable weight help the owner seek the best position rather than accept the only available space.
A subwoofer that can grow with the system
One unit completes well-sized stereo and surround systems. Adding a second later can improve consistency across several seats and reduce dependence on a single source position. This makes the R12s attractive to anyone starting with a balanced design while retaining a coherent route for future expansion.
Between R10s and R15s
The R10s prioritises compactness and budget; the R15s supplies more area and a more physical presentation. The R12s occupies the middle: 1000 W, a 300 mm driver and an enclosure that remains domestic. Choose it to cover most programme material well without surrendering space for capacity the room cannot exploit.
Integration tools
Processor, DSP, 10-band equaliser, continuous phase, RCA/XLR, display, app and trigger continue the R-Series feature set. Here they build a clean crossover with loudspeakers ranging from bookshelves to towers. Three presets can separate music, cinema and evening listening without rebuilding calibration every time.
