Perlisten S4s is a 3-way Signature acoustic-suspension loudspeaker for on-wall or flush installation, with Beryllium/Textreme TPCD DPC Array and 180 mm Textreme TPCD woofer.
S4s is the most flexible model in S-Series: conceived as a high-performance surround, its controlled response and shallow cabinet also allow it to work as a height or LCR channel. Driver quality remains fully Signature, so secondary channels do not become the weak link in a room built around S7t, S5t or S7c.

One loudspeaker for several roles
S4s is designed for on-wall or flush-wall installation and can operate as a surround, height or even LCR channel. This flexibility allows highly coherent rooms to use the same tonal language across every channel, avoiding a simpler design in the lateral or overhead positions.
The S-Series DPC Array
The mid/high section uses a 28 mm Beryllium tweeter and two 28 mm Textreme TPCD domes within the same DPC Array concept as other Signature models. Its waveguide reduces off-axis response variation and helps maintain continuity with the front loudspeakers, particularly important for surround channels.
Textreme TPCD woofer and sealed enclosure
The 180 mm Textreme TPCD woofer operates in an acoustic-suspension cabinet, a natural choice for a loudspeaker intended to work close to a wall. Response reaches 39 Hz at -10 dB and typical in-room extension is 33 Hz, impressive figures for a cabinet only 185 mm deep.
Sensitivity, power and low distortion
With 88.8 dB sensitivity in 2π and recommended amplifier power up to 300 W RMS, S4s is designed to preserve dynamics away from the main front stage. A stated 111 dB peak capability with controlled distortion suits cinema rooms where surround channels are expected to sustain genuine reference-level demands.
THX Dominus on surround channels
THX Dominus and THX Ultra certification show that lateral channels are not treated as secondary parts of the system. S4s is engineered to maintain coverage and output consistent with high-end Signature installations, helping create a more uniform and convincing surround field.
Shallow format for installation
The cabinet measures 240 mm wide, 405 mm high and 185 mm deep, with a weight of 9.5 kg. Its proportions make it far less intrusive than S-Series floorstanders or centre speakers while retaining the materials and acoustic architecture of the Signature family.
