The heart of your music
Rega Elicit MK5 is an integrated amplifier delivering 105 W per channel into 8 ohms, with advanced preamplification, Rega DAC, MM phono stage and extensive analogue and digital connectivity.
Elicit MK5 combines the Rega family's Class A/B power section with evolved preamplification and integrated digital circuitry. It delivers 105 W per channel into 8 ohms and 127 W into 6 ohms, with four line inputs, MM phono stage, two S/PDIF inputs and headphone output. The design adopts solutions developed for higher models in the range, including a discrete FET-based preamplifier stage and Alps volume control, while keeping analogue and digital sections separated.

Preamplification and power stage
The preamplifier section uses a discrete FET-based circuit derived from Rega's experience with higher-level amplifiers. Volume is controlled by an Alps potentiometer, while the power stage uses Sanken transistors and selected discrete components. Polypropylene capacitors and high-quality relays are used at critical points in the circuit to maintain stable signal behaviour and drive capability.
DAC and section isolation
The digital inputs are galvanically and optically isolated and use a Wolfson S/PDIF receiver. Conversion is handled by a Wolfson DAC followed by a discrete line-driver stage developed by Rega. The design aims to prevent the digital section from interfering with the analogue circuits, allowing optical and coaxial sources to be integrated without changing the amplifier's fundamental architecture.
MM phono and system flexibility
The MM phono stage allows direct connection of a turntable with a moving-magnet cartridge. Direct input, pre-out and record loop sit alongside the line and digital sources, offering integration with external power amplifiers, processors or recording devices. The headphone output uses switching through the mute relay to disconnect the loudspeakers without placing permanent elements in the main signal path.
Supplied accessories
The Solaris System remote control is included for operating the amplifier's main functions.
