Absolute precision
Rega RB Titanium is the Reference tonearm developed for Naia, with titanium vertical bearing housing and spindle, tungsten counterweight and hand-polished aluminium arm tube.
RB Titanium is Rega's most advanced production tonearm and was created as a dedicated component for the Naia turntable. The entire structure is designed to minimise mechanical joints and use high-rigidity materials at critical points. The vertical assembly is machined as a one-piece titanium component and works with individually selected high-grade bearings, while the counterweight shaft and counterweight are tungsten to concentrate mass in the required position without unnecessarily increasing overall dimensions.

Titanium vertical bearing assembly
The vertical bearing housing and its spindle are made from titanium to combine rigidity, precision and controlled mass. Rega hand selects each bearing set and matches it to the spindle with an interference fit, pairing inner and outer diameters. The result is almost friction-free movement both horizontally and vertically, with no measurable play in the bearing assembly and a preload of only a few microns.
Tungsten counterweight
The shaft and counterweight are made from tungsten, a high-density material that allows mass to be concentrated close to the pivot. This arrangement reduces the additional moment of inertia introduced by the balancing system and helps keep the tonearm responsive to the small movements required by the cartridge. Tungsten completes a strategy that combines different materials only where their mechanical properties provide a concrete advantage.
Arm tube and wiring
The low-mass aluminium arm tube is hand polished and designed to distribute material along its profile according to the rigidity required. Wiring uses a high-performance low-capacitance Rega phono cable terminated with professional Neutrik Profi connectors. The structure reduces the number of joints between cartridge, tonearm and signal output while keeping the mechanical and electrical aims of the design distinct.
Geometry and compatibility
Effective mass is 11 g, effective length is 236.5 mm and mounting distance is 222 mm. Overhang is 14.5 mm and offset angle 21.55°. RB Titanium can directly replace other Rega tonearms with three-point mounting and was created as the reference tonearm for Naia.
