Round 4" ceiling speaker with a ceramic dome tweeter
VX46R is a round 4" speaker for ceiling installation, supplied with a white Micro Trim grille. Sold as a pair.
It is a model in the Visual Experience series by Sonance, designed to blend into the architecture of the room. The manufacturer's sheet points to even coverage and reduced distortion.

- Pivoting 4.5" (114 mm) woofer whose cone is made of Kevlar / Nomex, with a rubber surround

- Handles between 5 and 80 watts RMS, with a sensitivity of 90 dB (2.83 V/1 m)
- Dispersion handled by the Sinusoidal Textured Waveguide

Installation
The cut-out has a diameter of 149 mm and the mounting depth is 117 mm. Standard installation takes a single stage; a two-stage method is optional: cables are run and the space is reserved before construction is finished, and the job ends when the speaker module is snapped into place.
Finishes and grilles
The Micro Trim grille supplied has a satin Brilliant White finish. The Visual Experience series offers three grille styles, Micro Trim, Trimless and Trimless mounted on TRUFIG, and for round ceiling models either a round or a square trim. The TRUFIG finish is optional and is meant to give a smooth surface that sits level.
