SPL Crossover Mk2

Two-way analogue crossover with VOLTAiR technology, crossover frequencies adjustable from 20 Hz to 3.6 kHz, RCA and XLR inputs and outputs.

Crossover Mk2: the design

On the Crossover Mk2 the crossover frequencies of the two sections, bass and mid/high, are set individually, and for both the slope can be 12 or 24 dB. It is made for adding one or two subwoofers to a stereo system; inputs and outputs are on both RCA and XLR.

Like the other SPL components it uses VOLTAiR technology: the audio circuits run on ±60 V rails, with discrete op-amps of SPL's own design and a shielded toroidal transformer.
