Reference subwoofer with dual 12” drivers and advanced DSP
The ultimate in depth and control
The Bowers & Wilkins DB1D represents the pinnacle of the DB Series subwoofer range. Designed for high-end Hi-Fi and reference home cinema systems, it integrates two powerful 12” Aerofoil™ opposing woofers and a 2000W Class D amplifier, delivering incredibly deep, fast and controlled low-frequency reproduction.
The opposed-driver configuration eliminates cabinet vibrations, reducing resonances and colorations. The result is a physical, authoritative bass that is perfectly integrated with high-end speakers, capable of descending into the subsonic range while maintaining precision and articulation.
Advanced digital technology and calibration via App
The DB1D uses a dynamic DSP platform with high-resolution DAC conversion, optimized for total control over phase, crossover, and equalization. The 2000W Class D digital amplifier ensures immediate power reserve even during the most demanding passages.
Using the Bowers & Wilkins Subwoofer App , you can calibrate the subwoofer to your room and select presets dedicated to the English company's speakers. Balanced and unbalanced connections ensure professional integration into high-end stereo and multichannel systems.
