Dual 10-inch Push-Pull design for deep bass with lower distortion
MK Sound X10+ is a sealed THX subwoofer with dual 10-inch drivers in Push-Pull configuration, 20-200 Hz response and 500 W RMS / 1000 W peak amplification.
The X+ Series uses MK Sound's established non-isobaric Push-Pull architecture: both drivers are exposed to room air and one is mounted inverted relative to the other. X10+ weighs 40.1 kg and uses a 25 mm MDF cabinet with internal bracing.

Design and drivers
New carbon-fibre cones increase rigidity and strength to handle greater power and excursion. CNC-machined extruded-aluminium Distortion Killer rings control the motor field; increased venting at the woofer bases reduces turbulence and non-linearity at high excursion.
Amplification and performance
The amplifier delivers 500 W RMS and 1000 W peak. The dual-driver layout provides substantial radiating area, while Headroom Limiter Maximizer supervises dynamic excursion to maintain control during very high-output passages.
System integration
Rated response is 20-200 Hz. Push-Pull uses one inverted driver to cancel part of the mechanical non-linearity and produce more symmetrical waveforms, reducing distortion as the subwoofer reaches into the lowest octaves.
Controls and connections
Line-level inputs and outputs are provided on both RCA and XLR, together with variable low-pass filtering, bypass, a fixed 80 Hz THX-reference filter and continuous 0-180-degree phase. This supports both home cinema processors and balanced or unbalanced stereo preamplifiers.
Construction and installation
The cabinet measures 64.7 x 40 x 34 cm and weighs 40.1 kg. 25 mm MDF panels, internal bracing and a recessed baffle limit vibration and resonance; milled cavities at the base aid airflow and also act as carrying grips for such a heavy subwoofer. The design remains consistent with the MK Sound satellite/subwoofer philosophy, separating deep bass from the monitor workload to reduce interference and preserve clarity through the mid and high frequencies.
