Quatuor 40th: the design
Magellan 40th Anniversary is Triangle's reference series. The horn tweeter has a new-generation magnesium-alloy dome; the 16 cm midrange has a paper cone and reproduces voices without coloration.
The crossover uses SCR Audio capacitors and air-core coils, and the internal wiring is by AudioQuest.
It is the flagship of the series: a second tweeter at the rear radiates backwards too, for a wider soundstage and easier placement.
