Sixteen channels of power with bridge mode
Trinnov Amplitude16 is a 16-channel power amplifier for immersive home theater systems, with 200 W per channel into 8 ohms and the ability to pair channels in bridge mode.
The design integrates two independent 8-channel amplifiers, two dedicated power supplies and balanced analog inputs on DB25. In bridge mode it can reach 800 W into 8 ohms and 1,000 W into 4 ohms per channel pair; it is also ready for the optional Dante board. Product code THOM003674.

Dual-amplifier architecture
Amplitude16 combines two 8-channel sections in the same chassis, each with an independent power supply. Rated output per single channel is 200 W into 8 ohms and 400 W into 4 ohms, while combined continuous power reaches 3,200 W at 230 V with all channels driven.
Bridge mode for demanding channels
Pairs of channels can be configured in bridge mode when more power is required for specific loudspeakers. In this mode, stated output reaches 800 W into 8 ohms and 1,000 W into 4 ohms, allowing more dynamic headroom to be allocated to front channels or subwoofers.
Performance and analog connections
Frequency response extends from 20 Hz to 20 kHz, independently of load, with stated THD+N of 0.0015% under the manufacturer's specified test conditions. Inputs are two female DB25 connectors with TASCAM analog wiring, 47 kohm impedance per phase and +18 dBu sensitivity.
Optional Audio over IP
An optional Dante board allows reception of up to 16 digital channels over Ethernet, with two Primary and Secondary RJ45 ports and AES67 compatibility. The board uses a DAC architecture coordinated with Trinnov processors and moves digital-to-analog conversion directly inside the amplifier.
Power, triggers and thermal management
The two sections use separate power inlets and automatically accept voltages from 100 to 240 V. Maximum consumption is stated as 2 x 2,000 W, with 125 W at idle and 0.52 W in standby. A 12 V trigger input and output are provided for integration with control systems.
Rack format, weight and warranty
The chassis measures 482 x 132 x 452 mm including rack ears. Net weight is 20.5 kg and shipping weight is 22.4 kg. The standard warranty is 5 years and is transferable under the manufacturer's conditions.
