Evolution: the design
The Evolution brings the ease of use of a modern amplifier to a valve design: it switches on and off from the remote, has a large display readable from across the room and an electronic volume control, a new solution for a valve amplifier.
The circuit is a KT88 push-pull delivering 40 W per channel, with a toroidal transformer and silicon-carbide Schottky diodes. The bias meter and adjustment are on the top plate; through the MAIN IN input it works as a power amplifier.
