CD player with valve output stage.
TRV-CD6SE: the design
The TRV-CD6SE has two analogue outputs: one passes through a buffer stage with 6922 valves, the other is solid state. You choose between two different voices.
The converter is the ESS Sabre ES9038Q2M. The CD signal can be upconverted to 352.8 kHz/32 bit or to DSD at 5.6 MHz before conversion; MQA-CD discs are fully decoded. Two sync inputs accept an external clock.
