The Barco Freya is a high-end projector designed for upscale private cinemas. Based on 3-chip DLP® technology, it integrates a pure laser RGB light source and a native 5K UHD 5120 × 2160 resolution in 21:9 Cinemascope format, ideal for widescreen displays without black bars. Thanks to three 0.9” DMDs , it guarantees a stable, uniform image free from artifacts typical of single-chip systems. The platform is derived from professional digital cinema and offers high color accuracy, wide DCI-P3 coverage and support for HDR10 / HLG content. It is the ideal solution for luxury installations that require authentic cinematic visual quality.

High brightness and professional color fidelity

The highly efficient RGB laser light source ensures brightness of up to approximately 11,000 lumens , making the Freya suitable for large screens. The Dynamic Laser Dimming management system optimizes contrast and enhances image depth. Proprietary video processing enables advanced HDR tone mapping , 12-bit color accuracy, and high-performance scaling. The interchangeable TLD+ professional lenses offer total flexibility during installation, adapting to different distances and room configurations.
