The Barco Medea is a home cinema projector designed for high-end dedicated theaters that require professional performance and authentic cinematic image quality. Based on a 3-chip DLP® architecture with native 4K DCI 4096 × 2160 resolution, it integrates a pure laser RGB light source to ensure stable brightness, superior color accuracy and perfect image uniformity. The three 0.9” DMDs ensure true detail and a total absence of artifacts typical of single-chip systems. The platform offers wide coverage of the DCI-P3 color space, support for HDR10 / HLG content and advanced video signal management, making it ideal for large screens in dedicated environments.

High brightness and advanced dynamic contrast

The highly efficient RGB laser light source allows Medea to reach up to approximately 9,000 lumens , ensuring brightness and uniformity even on large surfaces. Dynamic Laser Dimming technology improves contrast scene by scene, increasing image depth and three-dimensionality. Proprietary video processing precisely manages HDR tone mapping , with 12-bit color processing and high-performance scaling. The interchangeable TLD+ professional lenses guarantee maximum installation flexibility.
